"LoveBomb Go-Go, who was also providing in-between set music in the downstairs portion of the Roseland, paraded up to the main stage through the crowd and proceeded to amp the night's energy through the roof with a couple of quick tunes before Salmon joined them to ring in the New Year."
-Live For Live Music, January 2016
"One of the most extravagant acts you’ll see, ever."
-The Deli Magazine, June 2015
"We absolutely loved having LoveBomb Go-Go at What The Festival 2014! They added so much to the excitement and positive energy of the crowd with their roving and stage performances! The level of fun-factor provided at LOL stage, Splash Pool, and Illuminated Forest was taken up a notch for sure!" -What the Festival
"A marching band that likes to break all musical-speed limits"
-Seattle Times, August 2012
To mark the passing of the years? To contribute to the world at large - or just your neighborhood? What will you do to challenge the status quo? To explore new musical galaxies? To put the performance into performance art? To re-join art and entertainment? To feed into the grassroots movements and DIY cultures that spring up around the globe with fresh answers for when society becomes bogged down? To probe the metaphysical questions that John Coltrane pondered? What will you do?
We started a band.
Born in the dust of Burning Man Festival, and nurtured by the rains of Portland, Oregon - LoveBomb Go-Go is a group like no other! With an intergalactic indie-Balkan-funk-punk esthetic, LBGG marches into venues delivering a blistering, histrionic-drenched, horn, drum and vocal barrage of all original music drawn from many influences including Balkan brass bands, the second line street bands of New Orleans, DIY projects from all over the world, and the avant stylings of 60s and 70s groups like Parliament Funkadelic and the Sun Ra Arkestra.
LoveBomb Go-Go has appeared on stage with:
- The Flaming Lips
- Leftover Salmon
- The Coup
- Thao and The Get Down Stay Down
- Rebirth Brass Band
- Beats Antique
- Delhi 2 Dublin
- The Red Elvises
- Sir Mix-a-lot.
